Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to tours arranged through Brazilian Carnival Tours, which is brought to you by World Cup Tour Pty Ltd (ABN 23 689 240 631), IATA TIDS 96248703. Please read them together with the tour details on this website. By booking a tour with us, you agree to these terms.
Independence and no affiliation
Brazilian Carnival Tours is an independent tour operator. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Riotur, LIESA, the Marquês de Sapucaí Sambadrome or any samba school. References to Carnival events and venues describe what is included in the tour.
Enquiries and bookings
Sending an enquiry or expression of interest is not a booking and does not create a contract. Your booking is confirmed only when we have issued a written confirmation and received your deposit.
Prices
Prices are per person in Australian dollars (AUD), for the services listed as included. Twin share prices apply when two travellers share a room; solo travellers can ask us to arrange a room share, or pay the single-room price for a room to themselves. The price in your written quote and booking confirmation is the price you pay.
Payments
- 50% deposit within 7 days of booking.
- Remaining 50% within 30 days of booking.
Payment details are provided with your booking confirmation.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms, including any non-refundable amounts, are set out in your written booking confirmation. Many tour components (hotel rooms, Sambadrome tickets and ground services) are paid to suppliers in advance. If we have to cancel or materially change the tour, we will offer you the options available at the time.
Flights
International flights are not included. You may book your own flights or ask our travel partner, Frank Ford Travel (AOK Travel Pty Ltd), for a quote. FFT is an independent travel provider with its own terms, and flight bookings and payments are made directly with them.
Carnival and itinerary changes
Carnival is a live public event. Parade timings, running order, street bloco locations and transport arrangements are set by local authorities and organisers and may change. Itineraries may also change because of weather, safety, supplier availability or other circumstances beyond our control. We will tell you about any significant change as early as we can.
Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa or eVisa required to enter Brazil, and for meeting health and entry requirements. Check Smartraveller and official Brazilian government sources well before you travel.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical costs, cancellation and personal belongings. Frank Ford Travel can provide a quote, but any policy is arranged directly with them and the insurer. Brazilian Carnival Tours is not an insurance provider and does not advise on cover.
Our responsibility
We choose our suppliers with care, but accommodation, transport, tours and tickets are provided by third parties under their own terms. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from those services or from events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
