Brazilian Carnival Tours is brought to you by World Cup Tour Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we look after it.

What we collect

  • your name, email address, phone number and state;
  • your travel preferences, such as number of travellers, room type and optional extras;
  • anything else you include in your enquiry, such as dietary or mobility needs;
  • if you book, the details needed to arrange your tour, such as passport names and dates of birth.

How we use it

  • to answer your enquiry and prepare your quote;
  • to arrange and manage your tour;
  • to contact you about your booking; and
  • to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to arrange your tour: with our ground operator in Brazil (Compass Brazil), hotels, guides and transport providers, and with our travel partner Frank Ford Travel if you ask for a flights or insurance quote. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Overseas disclosure

Because the tour takes place in Brazil, some of the suppliers we share your information with are located in Brazil. We share only what is needed to arrange your tour.

Website and analytics

Enquiry form submissions are sent to us by email through a secure email service. We may use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. It relies on cookies and collects general usage information, not your name or contact details. Spam protection on our form may use Cloudflare Turnstile.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and to destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
